Xenophobia: Delicious Festival Responds to Tiwa Savage’s Withdrawal From Show

DStv Delicious International Food and Music Festival have issued an announcement after Nigerian vocalist, Tiwa Savage reported the crossing out of her up and coming South African show because of the xenophobic assault which was charged to hang on September 21.

“I won’t watch the uncouth butchering of my kin in SA. This is SICK. Hence I won’t perform at the up and coming DSTV tasty Festival in Johannesburg on the 21st of September. My supplications are with every one of the people in question and families influenced by this,” she tweeted on Tuesday.

The coordinators of the current year’s DStv Delicious International Food and Music Festival have reacted to Tiwa’s choice.

In an announcement issued, the coordinators of the celebration said they knew about her choice and were in talks with her administration.

“DStv Delicious International Food and Music Festival knows about Tiwa Savage‘s tweet, and is in talks with her administration. As a celebration, we have consistently been a comprehensive occasion with our doors open to everyone, independent of where they originate from.

“We don’t endure any type of separation and will keep on guaranteeing that the celebration is a protected and comprehensive spot for all,” the announcement read.

Notwithstanding, Nadia Nakai and Prince Kaybee pummeled Tiwa’s choice, considering it an “uncaring” tweet being a VIP.
