Rapper Jidenna was the latest artist to partake in the most recent episode of NPR’s Tiny Desk Concert series.
Tiny Desk Concerts generally give artists a chance to perform their music in a more relaxed and informal environment.
The Nigerian-American artist performed a few tracks from his debut album, The Chief.

Jidenna also had some kind words for NPR’s mission, saying “It’s a pleasure and honor to be here with you all. I didn’t know there was so many of you that work here but it makes sense because you truly are a beacon of light for, not just for radio, but for information in this information age, so thank you for doing that work. Long live NPR, long live Tiny Desk, Long Live The Chief.”
