Having lost over the weekend agains Alaves, Barcelona were in clinical form as they hosted Celtic in the first champions league league game of the season. Lionel Messi started the game and scored inside first 5 minutes to put Barcelona 1-0 up while Moussa Dembele missed a penalty for Celtic before Messi added another from close range to make it 2-0 for Barcelona. After the break it Messi and Iniesta were on target as Barcelona raced to 5 goals lead by 60 minutes on the clock. Luis Suarez added another two towards the end to complete humiliation of Celtic.
