Harry Kane stole the show and Tottenham proved that the Wembley curse doesn’t work – at least in Europe – as Spurs defeated German side Borussia Dortmund 3-1 on Wednesday night in the Champions League.
Son scored Tottenham’s first goal and Yarmolenko equalized for the visitors before Harry Kane bagged a brace, which took his tally to six goals in four matches for both club and country. Real Madrid also defeated APOEL Nicosia with Ronaldo scoring two goals as well.
Feyenoord got thumped 4-0 at the hands of Manchester City in Holland, and Shakhtar Donetsk shocked Napoli 2-1 to claim their first three points of the UCL campaign.
