50 is focused. Following controversy at a recent concert, the G-Unit general unleashes two new guest appearances.
The first of those tracks is Rotimi’s “Nobody,” which also features T.I. It finds the emerging R&B singer and actor who stars in Fif’s “Power” drama singing about a promiscuous girl.
“How you got all these bodies?” Rotimi wonders. “Still ain’t got nobody / You out here livin’ like a thottie / That’s why you ain’t got nobody.”
Meanwhile, Fif adds: “You just be fucking for free / You just be fucking to fuck / You might end up in the sheets / But you’ll never end up in love.”
Then, 50 joins 2 Chainz on Fre$h’s “Petty.” Formerly known as Young Money’s Short Dawg, Fre$h flexes his pettiness. “My ex posted pictures of her new man,” he sing-raps. “So I smashed her friend, I’m just being petty.”
Fif can relate: “I’m a rich ni**a,” he raps. “Still getting ni**as robbed, I’m just being petty / Ni**as act like they want that smoke with me but they ain’t ready.”
“This song was inspired by necessary pettiness,” Fre$h told The FADER. “When you gotta show ’em just because you don’t do something doesn’t mean you can’t…and my ex.”
