The One Africa Music Fest brought out some of the coolest African folks this side of the Atlantic. GQStyle has now featured some of the coolest African folks that were at the concert, Singer Davido, Rapper Wale, Actor Gbenro Ajibade, and Stylist Swanky Jerry are among the coolest African folks that were featured.
This year’s New York edition of the One Africa Music Fest Organized by Upfront & Personal Global Management Consultants, took place at the Amphitheater Coney Island, Brooklyn, New York, USA on Saturday, August 19, 2017.
“A few years ago you wouldn’t find Africans out here wearing African clothes,” says GQ’s, AJ Gibbson. “It’s really interesting to see the African diaspora as it develops in the United States.” To that end, this weekend, at One Africa Music Fest, the dashikis and the chief hats, the Gucci, and the Goyard were on full display.
The event had a host of stars in attendance including Tiwa Savage, Wale, Emma Nyra, Flavour, Tekno, Davido, P-Square, Falz, Shatta Wale, Cassper Nyovest. These were just the few slew of celebrities that were in attendance. The show was filled with energetic performances from the artists and hype from the thrilled fans.
