EPL Week 3 Review: Arsenal Disgraced, The Reds and Blues Flying High

Arsenal’s woes in the Premier League continued after a Jurgen Klopp masterclass saw them lose 4-0 to Liverpool at Anfield in the Super Sunday game of the week. The Gunners failed to register a shot on target for the first time since facing Chelsea in 2014. Firmino, Mane, Sallah, and Sturridge got on the scoresheet to plunge Arsenal further down the table.

Manchester United continued their campaign with a 2-0 victory over 2015/16 Champions Leicester City, Manchester City got a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Bournemouth at Carrow Road, and Chelsea continued their title defence with a 2-0 win over Wayne Rooney’s Everton.

United are still on top of the League, with Liverpool, Huddersfield Town and Manchester City occupying the remaining slots in top 4 respectively. Chelsea are up to sixth, while Arsenal have fallen further down to 16th position.
