Blackish actors Tracee Ellis Ross and Anthony Anderson are the cover stars of Ebony‘s September 2017 issue. This quirky yet hilarious couple have navigated several real-life instances related to Blacks in America, from teenage sex to police brutality. Editor-in-chief Tracey Ferguson conducted the interview.
Creative director for the cover was Courtney Walter and the cover shoot was shot by photographer Dennis Leupold.
Here is what the black-ish co-stars shared with the mag:
Tracee on her chemistry with Anthony: “It’s the magic that happens between us. That’s why it’s so fun working with Anthony, ’cause the two of us work the same way.”
Anthony on his favorite part of the show: “My favorite thing has been being a part of the children’s lives for the past five years, and watching them grow professionally and personally.”
