Ex-Arsenal striker Ian Wright has finally taken a stance in the ongoing crisis at Arsenal by saying that the club is in “crisis from top to bottom” and manager Arsene Wenger should leave, after The Gunners humiliating 4-0 loss to Liverpool at Anfield on Sunday

“It’s an absolute nightmare,” said Wright, who scored 128 goals for Arsenal.

“Why can’t we get the players to play for us? Wenger carries the can,” he told BBC Radio 5 live.

Wright, who was part of Wenger’s 1997/98 double-winning squad added, “It comes back to his door. We are three games in and are at crisis point.

“Do I think he should go? I’d like him to go because I do not believe now he can motivate the players. It’s for himself and for his own sanity.

“It’s an absolute nightmare – where does he go from here? That team has not played for Wenger for years.”

Although Wenger has won 3 FA Cups in 4 years, fans still called for him to leave the club at the end of last season after Arsenal failed to make the top 4 for the first time in twenty-one years. But the Frenchman responded by signing a two-year contract extension.
