Arsenal midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is on the brink of joining Premier League champions Chelsea, according to BBC Sports.
Oxlade-Chamberlain, 24, is among the top players (Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil inclusive) who will be out of contract next year and has refused to sign a new deal at the club.
Chelsea have declined to comment but it is understood they have agreed on a transfer fee of 35.5 million with Arsenal for the England international.
Should the deal go through, Chamberlain will be Chelsea’s fifth major signing of the summer following the arrivals of striker Alvaro Morata, goalkeeper Willy Caballero, defender Antonio Rudiger and midfielder Bakayoko.
