Alessia Cara has enjoyed a busy summer. The Canadian singer shined on big records by Logic (“1-800-273-8255″) and Zedd (“Stay”), the former winning a moonman at the 2017 MTV VMAs. Cara decides to treat fans with a song this weekend, uploading a cover of SZA’s CTRL single “Drew Barrymore” on her YouTube page.
A fan of the TDE songstress, Alessia previously expressed on Twitter that SZA’s “Go Gina” was one of her current favorite records. “You make me really happy ..your artistry is so effortless, honest and impressive . Thank u,” said SZA when she caught wind of the news.
