Entertainment company BET has announced this year’s nominees for the BET Hip Hop Awards and Cardi B, DJ Khaled and Kendrick Lamar lead way with nine nods each.
Cardi B got nominated for Best Hip Hop Video for her hit single “Bodak Yellow”, as well as Best New Hip Hop Artist.
Kendrick Lamar’s Dave Meyer’s-directed visual “HUMBLE.” has been nominated for Best Hip Hop Video. K. Dot has also been nominated for Album of the Year for DAMN. and Lyricist of the Year.
The 2017 award show takes place at The Fillmore Miami Beach at Jackie Gleason Theater in Miami Beach, Florida on October 6 and airs on October 10 at 8 p.m. EST/PST. Check out all of the nominees below.
