Nigeria’s first Afrobeat Grammy grant champ, Burna Boy has at long last accepted his Grammy Plaque in Lagos, Nigeria.
On the tenth of June, The Self acclaimed African goliath took to Instagram to share photographs of the lovely brilliant gramophone with Fans and devotees.
Sharing the photographs, he composed:
“Early Morning conveyances from across the lake!
My folks petitioned God for phenomenal kids, not houses, vehicles or “things”. They asked my sisters for heavenly degrees; one got a five star in Finance, the other got a Distinction in Engineering. They asked me for a Grammy, and here we are. I’m a result of penance! Say thanks to God and thank you all once more! ”
