The Twitter community on Thursday literarily caught fire as many of the app users demoted Burna Boy from the status of African Giant to what they termed Ikorodu Lucky Dube.
His demotion on the popular app was in reaction to how the singer posted a video while reacting to the fire that gut the office of the Accountant General of the federation in Abuja.
In the video, Burna Boy said Nigerians deserved the kind of leaders they have as he also linked it to how some Twitter Users called out Nollywood actress, Funke Akindele for hosting a house party until she was charged to court.
The self acclaimed African Giant who has been demoted to Ikorodu Lucky Dube laughed at how some Nigerians channeled their energy wrongly leaving out the political leaders.
Meanwhile, Twitter Users didn’t let the Video fly without accusing Burna Boy of missing the facts adding that most Nigerian political leaders get called out almost everyday on different social media platforms for not doing the right thing.
You will recall that Funke Akindele and her husband, Abdurasheed Bello were dragged on the same social media platform for bringing many people together thereby going against the social distancing measure announced by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC.
