COZA Lady Apologizes For Misinterpretation Of Davido’s Promotional Ad, Says The Video Was A Mistake

The lady in Davido’s promotional ad for the Commonwealth of Zion Assembly(COZA) church has finally spoken up about the issue.
The viral video in COZA’s promotional ad caused a lot of buzz as many were confused to why the singer who is known to be a secular singer would be in such a video. Some were in the singer for working with the church as the senior pastor of the church, Biodun Fatoyinbo is one person people are careful to work with because of his rape scandal.

However, the singer revealed that is was not aware that the video would be used for such purpose and threatened to take legal action if the video is not taken down. The lady in the video identified as Elizabeth Omale took to her Instagram to give details of what really happened.

According to her, the video was not intended for an official ad for the church but simply her own way of raising awareness for the church. She further revealed that the reports of the singer being an ambassador to the church are false as Davido who happens to be her good friend recorded the video with she and her daughter as a favour.

I would like to make some clarifications on the video I recorded with @davidoofficial for my church, the Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA). The video was in no way intended to be an official ad from the church. It was simply my way of raising awareness for a program I am passionate about.

I have read reports online claiming that Davido is coming to the program as an ambassador of COZA because of the video, these reports are false. He recorded that video with me and my daughter as a favour to a friend, nothing more. Also, my pastor, Pastor Biodun only reposted the video from my page because he has been reposting videos about the program.
