Decoding ‘4 Nights In Ekohtiebo’: The Messages In Zlatan’s New Song After EFCC Release

Rapper Zlatan Ibile released a single after his release from EFCC detention to detail his experience in the custody of the financial crimes commission. He had spent 4 nights in EFCC detention following alleged involvement in advanced fee fraud.

Days after his release, Zlatan announced he would detail his experience in a song for curious fans who were eagerly expecting to hear the gist from the horse’s mouth.

In the song, Zlatan reintroduces his humble self with a subtle intro and he begins the story. He says he wonders how people who claim to love you turn their back quickly when you face little challenges. He further went on to dissociate himself from the defamatory names and stories that had circulated about him.

Zlatan however made shocking revelations, first, he says his predicarment is sourced to some set of people that are close to him. He then moved flash a news that his album is on the way, complimenting the statement with strong believe that his colleague Naira marley will soon regain freedom.

He is also disappointed that his fake friends who hate him didn’t hide it while he was still in prison. Moreover, when he and Naira Marley needed their friends the most, they weren’t there for them. Zlatan Ibile says that they showed their true sides, and this revealed a lot to him.
