It is true that God wants us to be Heaven-conscious as believers. He desires that we seek His kingdom; living a life of holiness and purity.
Yet, God even more desires that we are Earthly relevant. He owns all the wealth that you can imagine. Psalms 50:10, Haggai 2:8.
Thus, it will be a thing of shame if any believer settles for poverty when we have a God who owns all things.
John, the beloved, puts it simply in 3rd John 1:2- “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth..”
Consider the above! John was simply saying: Even though I want you to be spiritually rich (…as your soul prospers), more than that, I want you to have wealth too (…that thou mayest prosper).
Heaven and Money are not two parallel lines. In fact, heaven gives wealth. You ask how?
Deuteronomy 8:18- “But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day..”
Also, Matthew 6:33- “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you..”
What are those other things? They are the things Money buys (read verses 25-32).
Be HEAVENLY CONSCIOUS and be SMART!!.
The wealth of nations is yours! I call you blessed!!
