Kevin Hart has once again broken the “Hart” of his wife and kids.
The actor/comedian admitted to cheating on his pregnant wife in a Let-Me-Explain-kinda Instagram post on Saturday night, where he said that someone had targeted him for “financial gain” due to mistakes he made.
“I said I’d rather fess up to my mistakes,” Hart said.
TMZ reports the “Soul Plane” actor was caught in an extortion attempt for a “sexually suggestive” video with another woman, who was not immediately identified.
The 38-year-old comic confessed to a “bad error of judgement” in the Instagram video and apologized to his wife, Eniko Parrish, and his two children from a previous marriage.
“It’s a s—-y moment where you know you’re wrong. There’s no excuses for your behaviour,” Hart said.
Hart already has two children with ex-wife Torrei Hart.
TMZ reports that a woman has been demanding an unspecified amount after filming a “sexually suggestive” video with Hart, noting that the actor is not visible in the footage and it’s not a sex tape. The hush money would then halt the video’s release.
The footage appears to show Hart acting intimately with another woman at a club before cutting to a bedroom, according to TMZ, citing sources who have seen the footage. A man who may be Hart can be seen in a clip from the bedroom. The sound of a creaking bed frame and slapping can be heard.
Hart’s reps did not immediately respond to a request for comment but told the celebrity news site that law enforcement is involved with the failed extortion attempt.
