Following their Tinashe collaboration “Quit You,” the DJ duo teams up with Fifth Harmony’s Ally Brooke and A$AP Mob’s A$AP Ferg for the dance-ready collaboration “Look at Us Now.”
Over the pulsating production, Ally sings about turning her ex into her rebound. “We’re better when we’re not tied down,” she sings. “Turned my ex into my rebound / Ready for another / When we ain’t together, don’t this just feel better?”
The Trap Lord joins in, rhyming about why he can’t seem to quit one special lover. “Really what it comes to,” he raps. “I don’t know how to run from you / I’m not here because I want to / I’m just here ’cause I want to / Can we just kick it like kung fu?”
“Look at Us Now” also arrives with an animated video game-inspired lyric video that features futuristic robots racing through neon-colored streets.
Although she’s used to making hits with Fifth Harmony, Ally was excited to connect with Lost Kings. “This is big, this is fun,” she said. “I’m just so excited to be a part of a record that’s this big. That’s what I love about you guys. You guys are good people, I can tell. So happy that we came together.”
