Snoop Dogg seems to be really enjoying his freedom from major labels. It’s not even been two months since he released his fifteenth studio album Neva Left which was a pretty solid effort.He’s already back on the scene with a new single ‘Transition’ where he continues to explore his newly found-again gangsta sound. He is assisted by none other than Jahlil Beats on the production. This is such a dope combination.
Snoop Dogg has hit a hell of a stride in 2017, and the Doggfather continues to drop new music on the regular. His latest single “Transition” finds him spitting bars over some Jahlil Beats production, sounding rejuvenated off the kush fumes. The instrumental has a futuristic quality to it with crisp drums and synthwork, yet it still retains that classic westcoast charm.
